How does a rabbit find his hole in the dark?

YOUR NASTY CB,,,BUT THATS WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY TOO,,,BUT IF IT SMELLS,,,YOUR RABBIT GIRLFRIEND SHOULD TAKE A BATH,How does a rabbit find his hole in the dark?
Sight, sound, smell, touch, hearing.

The rabbit uses all it's senses to find it's way through it's domain/territory. They may their territory with scent glands from under their chin and then know by scent this area to be theirs. They hear the sounds to know what is safe for them and what is not. They have whiskers to feel their way through areas that they know to be safe or not for them to fit into. The sounds they hear are associated with goind toward the right area of safety. And they can see. Rabbits sight is designed to see better in low light, they see best and are most active during the hours of dusk or dawn. How does a rabbit find his hole in the dark?
Rabbits have nocturnal vision
he sniffs around until he smells that ';familiar'; smell he's so used to...and heads right in...kinda like how guys can find their gfs in bed in a totally dark room...
smell
One word, Instinct. They can smell all their pooh and pee in their hole.
scent plays a big role in it, as well as the holes not really looking entirely the same to them. besides, the holes in one area generally lead to the same burrow, so even if they are going in a hole they don't normally use, they know it still leads them to their warren.

and they probably wonder the same thing about us with our houses...how could we possibly keep all those big boxes straight amongst ourselves? :-)

edit: holes are generally big enough to allow more than one rabbit thru at a time. (they are pretty squishy critters, after all, lol.) this allows mothers to get babies in and out as needed. if it were a case of a big rabbit going thru, i'd imagine that the smaller one would give way and back up, due to their pecking order.
