Rabbits are not rodents either. They are lagomorphs.

Guinea pigs are awesome pets. We just got our first guinea pig and we have found him to be a great pet. We have had rabbits for over 15 years and he has such a different and unique personality.

If it were me I would pick a guinea pig. Rabbits are fun too but again not rodents.Rodent? which rodent should i get guinea pig ferret bunny rabbit or a chinchilla?
Ferrets and rabbits are not rodents.

Ferrets need regular vaccinations (rabies and distemper) just like dogs. They also are prone to things like adrenal disease which can run in the thousands for surgery or they die a painful death. Ferrets need a very carnivorous diet with about 50% meat protein and 20% fat. It can cost over $30 a month to feed one ferret.

Chinchillas need air conditioning. If your home gets over 75潞F then no chinchilla or it will literally roast its organs from the inside out.
i have two ferrets and they are great pets! i have two of them, tank, and scooter. people say they are high maintenance but truthfully, they arnt. you just have give them fresh water, and food everyday. which the food costs quite a bit, and clean their cage everyday. they are smelly. wait why am i telling you this? you probably already know!! but if you dont then, well...ummm there is your answer :)
I like guinea pigs, they are cute and they make squeaky sounds.
A ferret is not a rodent but is awsome. They are are fun to play with and love to cuddle. And they like to run around and follow you. Here is a link telling all about there awsomeness. also chinchillas are awsome. They are realy good jumpers and can jump like four feet in the air. they love out of cage interaction. I would get two females. And as of ferrets I would get two female that are spayed. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF you are looking for heap then a syrian hamster is awsome too. I own two dwarf hamsters. They are cheap to care for. I am getting a ferret or chinchilla soon. Hope you get what i said. H
