Hey, i just wanted to know about how much would a Rabbit cost?

I really want a Rabbit, but i need to know how much one would cost. I live in TX, if that makes a difference, idk.

Some things are more expencive, or cheaper, in other places.

Anyways, if u know how much it costs PLEASSEE tell me. :)

The rabbit itself is usually inexpensive. The supplies and vet bills, however, are not. Expect to pay at least $150 for a suitably sized cage for a single small rabbit. (should be 4 feet by 2 feet, minimum!), vet bills the first year will likely approach $500 with their checkup and spay or neuter. You can moderate the vet expense if you adopt from a rescue, they will all spay and neuter before you adopt, but you need to make sure you can deal with emergency vet bills, exotics vets aren't cheap! Plus pellets, hay, fresh veggies daily, treats, litter/bedding... It's a big financial commitment. www.rabbit.org has lots of information on pet rabbits, including what is needed to own one. Check it out and think over your decision carefully.Hey, i just wanted to know about how much would a Rabbit cost?
Have you checked with the humane society? Lots of them rehome bunnies too. Another place you can check is Petfinder and Craigslist. I see tons of them on Craigslist for free all over the place. sometimes cage, food, everything included, they just want a good home for them.

Good luck. I know there are lots of cute rabbits waiting for a good home!
It definitely depends on what you want it for.

I also live in TX. I am going to a show in Giddings tomorrow.

I normally sell pets for $20 or under and show quality rabbits can go $50 or more.
A lot of feed stores carry small animals like rabbits or chickens, or you can look in the pet section of the newspaper. You should be able to get one for less than 20 dollars.
It's free if you go out and catch it yourself....lol
