I am getting a rabbit. How many times a day do I feed him and what time of day?

just morning and night with pellets and something around midday like a carrot or some veg!

i give my bunny a treat in the morning and a treat at night to keep her happy!

don't give him lots of lettuce as a veg, you always think that's what rabbits like but it's not good for them really!

good luck!I am getting a rabbit. How many times a day do I feed him and what time of day?
I grew up with tons of rabbits!! Make shure that the bowls are always full. But if there is food left over in them change it once a day with fresh food. Same with the water. And you should be fine.I am getting a rabbit. How many times a day do I feed him and what time of day?
It is said to give them a tuna can amount of rabbit food everyday. Always plenty of water. I usually feed mine about 4 pm every day to keep them full for the night. I do give mine hay, bread, left over biscuits, leaves, but never grass or green stuff until they are about 3-4 months old. Pet rabbits are not born wild and the green stuff will upset their digestive system and could kill them. Play with them alot to keep them lovable.
feed him whenever its gone. no matter what time of day.
For all things rabbits go to these websites and read the House Rabbit Handbook.
Make sure his dish is always full of pellets, and feed him vegetables once or twice a day. Always plenty of water.
Pellets a couple of times a day but also make sure the rabbit gets some hay to nibble on so that their teeth stay worn down. Without something to nibble on, rabbits' teeth can overgrow giving all sorts of problems. Fresh food as often as possible, and of course a constant supply of fresh water.
Put a bowl of rabbit food in his cage and fill it everyday.
I agree with c.s. But after your new rabbit is six months old you should stop feeding him alfalfa. Because it gives them stomach aches. Then you can feed them timothy hay. Which you can by at Earl May or even Wal Mart. Just a handful though. Oh and timothy hay helps their fur stay healthy.
Pellets %26amp; clean water all the time. Raw veggies (carrots, lettuce, etc) and fruit (apples, pears, etc) once a day, at your convenience. Alfalfa in the cage at all times, changed at least weekly. This will give your rabbit something to eat that he will need as well as keep the smell under control. If the cage stinks, change the alfalfa. You will also need a salt lick out all the time. Check with your vet on any additional care.
