Should I buy a rabbit from a pet store?

I am buying a rabbit but was just wondering if I should but it from the pet store or somewhere else?Should I buy a rabbit from a pet store?
if the pet store is small and not a chain then it can be ok. But if from a chain store e.g. Pets at home the rabbits are never handled enough. I got my rabbit from a local pet store and they handled her every day. she is the nicest and friendliest bunny you could meet.





Also the animals from the local pet shops seem to be happier and behaving normally. But if you have no local pet shops near by then Defiantly get your rabbit from a breeder!!!!Should I buy a rabbit from a pet store?
i got my 2 pretty flemish giant rabbits from the friday add 1 is all white with pink eyes nd ears and the other is steel grey, 1 is a boy nd da other is a girl and no they havent been nutard and the female is 1 week pregnant! aww!!

i wouldnt get a rabbit from a pet store as they have stupid prices i would get mine from a breeder and make sure there eyes are clear no discharge or there not sneesing or anythink like that and make shure u see the both peronts and that there all in good condition and healthy
First of all, can you take care of it???Do you have a proper cage? Can it be in a safe and warm place in the winter? Who will take care of it when you go away???





As for a pet store. Try to get it from one of your local 4-H kids.... They always have some to sell........... ask around..........
Pet store rabbits are over priced and un-socialized. You would get a happier, healthier animal from a breeder. You can also consider adoption. www.petfinder.com is a good place to start.
buy from a local breeder pet store are over priced! way over priced i just got a rabbit today from a local breeder and if i bought all the supplies at the pet store i would of spent more then a 150$ more buy from breeder!
NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! Get it from a person that breeds them or has a rabbit farm, they will be healthier than a pet store's rabbit because pet store don't give them as much exercise as they need. Good luck on your new bunny=)
I say that you should buy it from a shelter because there are so many animals in the shelter at this moment and we should give each of them a loving home!
