If you were to buy an indoor pet would you prefer rabbit or guinea pig?

Rabbit.....they can be potty trained.


You can put down a litter box for them and they will go in it. I promise.


I would let me loose in the house to run free.But make sure that you pick up all electrical, cable and telephone wires from floor, they love to eat through them.

i would prefer a Guinea pig. i had 2 pigs before they are so gentle animals. don't get me wrong Bunny's are sooo cute and nice as well but they dirty their cage so fast with poo and stuff you have to change it about every three days...where as with the Guinea pigs you only have to change the cage every 2 weeks. they are also not high maintenance. Bunny's always need attention or they well start to bite people and run around in the cage. your so much better off with a Guinea pig in my opinion. lol :)If you were to buy an indoor pet would you prefer rabbit or guinea pig?
Rabbits can be potty trained, and their glands cleaned to prevent them from smelling bad.





Guinea pigs stink and soil their bedding really fast specially if you give them fruit or veggie treat, or if they drink a lot of water.





Rabbits won't bite if you care for them nicely since a young age, but they do have to be handled a lot.



I would buy a rabbit because they can be potty trained and they are easier to take care of. I had a guinea pig once and her bottom always got messy and dirty. If you get a guinea pig, though, make sure its a short haired. They are ALOT easier to take care of!
i'd get a rabbit, as others have mentioned they can be toilet trained. also you could put a rabbit on a rabbit harness and take it for a walk in the garden.
Guinea pigs are a lot tamer and I just all around prefer them! But I love rabbits too! I guess it really depends how much time you want to spend with them because rabbits need exercise!

Rabbits require alot of care and attention and thier cages get real smelly.
guinea pig... rabbits aren't meant to be indoors and they're very skittish and smelly
