Would it be ok if you put a diaper on a rabbit?

Like a diaper so it won't go all over the place...or will it tear it off?

Im also looking for an dwarf rabbit breeder anyone know of any in Hanford,CA?Would it be ok if you put a diaper on a rabbit?
No you can not put a diaper on a rabbit. It will tear it off and ingest it, and the stuff that diaper companies put in there to absorb urine is toxic when eaten. Rabbits can be litter trained like a cat with patience, persistance, and spaying or neutering. My four do not ever have accidents outside of their box. Information on litter training is here: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/litte鈥?/a>

Since it sounds like you are a first-time rabbit owner, you may want to rethink your choice of breed. Netherland dwarfs (along with other especially small breeds), tend to be skittish, fearful, and are often biters. Many would prefer not to interact with humans at all. In general, the larger the rabbit, the more gentle and more likely to be social. Instead of a breeder, you may want to think about adopting from a local shelter or rescue. Most will spay or neuter the rabbit before adoption, have them vet checked, etc. for a very affordable price! Our local shelter has them microchipped, altered, vet checked, and provides a certificate for a free checkup at the local exotics vet, all for $45. Since spaying or neutering can cost $70-$300+, that's a great deal! Here is a link to Petfinder: http://www.petfinder.com/search/search.c鈥?/a> Not every shelter lists their animals on petfinder, so also check out shelters in your local phone book and call them as well.Would it be ok if you put a diaper on a rabbit?
No, it is definitely NOT okay to put a diaper on a rabbit. It will probably cause them to get a lower intestine infection from feces getting stuck to their rear end, which will cost you hundreds of dollars in vet visits to remedy. My rabbit had one (from my roommate improperly cleaning her cage while I was on vacation) and it's really not pleasant to deal with.

Rabbits can be litter box trained very easily as it is natural for them to defecate in one spot. Here is a link with some FAQs on litter training for rabbits:

And why don't you try and find a rabbit shelter instead? There are plenty of dwarfs and other rabbits that get dumped in shelters. Look here: http://shelters.theanimalnet.com/Califor鈥?/a>
did you seriously just ask that question?? a rabbit cant wear a diaper, its not human, you might be able to potty train it but its just cruel to have a rabbit wear a diaper just like its cruel to hace dogs wear clothes!
well what idf you were the bunny? would you want a diaper on youu???;] ha and besides the bunny may or may not gety a diaper rash.;[ and that can be harful to anything living really.
no. rabbits are not meant to wear diapers its better if you buy it a sand box and try to train it rather than having it wear an annoying diaper which it will prob tear off anyways.
No. That is very strange. Maybe you see doctor tomorrow.
Questions like these make me want to cry...
