Would a Mini Rex naturally breed with a Netherland Dwarf rabbit?

if they shared a cage, and weren't both the same genderWould a Mini Rex naturally breed with a Netherland Dwarf rabbit?
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO CREATE MUTT RABBITS. THERE ARE ENOUGH TRYING TO FIND HOMES.

But, yes the could breed if one was a female and one a male. Although mini-rex are born with fur that looks like any other rabbit's, as soon as they turn four months of age they will change fur and it will be the soft velvety kind.****** But, if you breed a netherland dwarf to a mini-rex it won't ever develop that nice fur that characterizes mini-rex's fur to any other rabbit.*****

If you want your mini-rex to be smaller (and actually have studied genetics to understand something about rabbits and not just breed because) then you should buy some mini-rex , the smaller the better. Then, once the first litter is born keep the smallest of that litter, and so on until they are the size you want them to be.

How do you think we got mini-rex from rex?Would a Mini Rex naturally breed with a Netherland Dwarf rabbit?
Yes rabbits that are not the same breed can mate. They buck(male) should always be smaller than the doe (female). That way the kits (babies) will not be too big for the doe to kindle(deliver).

If the Mini Rex is the buck you should not let them live together and mate. Also a buck will continually mate the doe. She will become quite angry and attack the buck even to the point of killing him. Each rabbit should have it's own cage.Bucks will breed a doe immediately after she gives birth.

Please do not produce cross breed rabbits.
Any two rabbits can breed but why would you let them? Why make crossbreed rabbits which will even be harder to place and find good homes for them. Don't breed unless you are serious about their bloodlines and breed genetics/characteristics. Instead, spay and neuter them, and give them a longer healthier life.
