Can my rabbit get stuck in an underground burrow?

I have 2 rabbits. Mother and daughter. They live outside now that the weather is nice. The mother made a burrow under the ground and her daughter keeps filling in the hole. Can the mother get herself out if the daughter doesn't dig it back up? I keep undoing it, until the mother comes out..which she hasn't yet. I just noticed this todayCan my rabbit get stuck in an underground burrow?
This is normal. besides, bunnies have feet made for digging. I am sure it could dig itself out. However, bunnies do not care for their young. And like bears they become Competition. I would seperate them about now. Bunnies can have new children every 3 months. Just F.Y.I
